I get tons of e-mail here, and I think it's mainly because of my forum postings. People write to me about something I posted, or about something in my profile. I think a lot of it is just that they get to know you after having read your posts for awhile. And I don't e-mail anybody first. Having said that, I will admit that I never hear from anyone close enough to actually ever meet. So there is that downside.

I am the one who emails first with almost every guy to whom I have chatted... there are a few who emailed me first, but for the most part nope

I've emailed gentlemen who have expressed interest on the Mutual Match and was patently ignored on a few occassions. Starts to make a lady wonder if they are just voyeurs or creepers.

There is a group of 7 or 8 women who go look at my profile every day. It doesn't matter if I've changed anything, added anything, whatever. They must go look. And not one of them has ever said a word to me. They don't post in the forums, either, and their profiles (yeah, I checked, it all got a little creepy after awhile) are all vapid and pointless. It's like they have a little club.
