most brand name home pregnancy test can tell if hCg is in your system 14 days after the day of intercourse. however not all women produce enough of the hormone, to tell so soon. a blood test is pretty accurate and give results within about 72 hours of conception. if your cycle is later than 5-7 days its best to go to the doctor. there might be an underlying condition and it might not be pregnancy. and if you are not wanting a baby. and by posting this i am guessing you are not.
