Any of you had the flu or stomach virus' this year? I got a stomach but Sunday night in the night. Sick Sick Sick and I will spare you the details...very faint and 101 temp. I HATE being sick alone so thought I'd ask for some hugs.

I HATE being sick alone so thought I'd ask for some hugs. I had both! I work in a Pediatric office so, when I got the flu it hit me hard! Drink plenty of fluids. Alternate between tylenol and motrin. You can try to get your family doc to call out some tamiflu, but that's only if you take the meds within a few days of having the symptoms that it can actually help. It made me throw up though so..good luck! Get some rest! |

Sounds like you might be getting dehydrated honey. You might need an IV if you don't get some fluids in you. |

it is supposed to take 14 days to run its course, but if you go to the doctor and get some medicine, it will clear up in 2 weeks.

had the flu and strep at the same time...morphed into ear infections and impetigo. was out of work for two weeks...and i've STILL got that blasted cough. |
