since when did not agreeing with a political agenda automatically mean
that you don't support the troops? i understand the argument that if
don't support the reason they are there that it is almost like saying
that they are fighting and dying for nothing but my world ain't that
black and white. there are plenty of military dissenters who still
perform their duties with honor and courage and i don't think that the
two should be confused. i don't want any of them to be over there or
come home thinking that anyone has taken their service for granted and i
wish we could get this part cleared up.

King, I understand what you are saying. I totally support and respect
our troops and have family and friends in Iraq now. However, I don't
agree with a lot of the choices made in the Oval Office....so people
think when I say something negative about Bush that I am anti-America,
anti-troops. Nothing could be farther from the truth. It is our right as
Americans that allows us to form our own opinions and state our feelings
publicly.
