Any of you buy the Asus Eee PC this winter?

Its been 4 months now and I LOVE this computer. It won't run your windows applications, but (now that videoconferencing works) it does EVERYTHING I could possibly want in a sub-note.

It seems like everywhere I go people walk up to me and want to know about it, saying they saw it somewhere and wanted one, but they were a little skeptical because it doesn't run windows. I ask them what they need, and tell them how its done on the Asus. They sit back and think for a minute, and then concede that it truly does do -everything- they want, in a simple, easy way, and they are so excited by its small size and low price.


Usual gripes: small screen, small keyboard, no CD/DVD drive.

Personally, I don't care for CD/DVD drives as i transfer all data, including new software, over the net. The keyboard actually suits me -perfectly-, and as for the screen, its perfectly functional. Not pleasant, but more than adequate.

Its so freaking small, I used to keep forgetting I had it with me.

So lets hear it - who else has an EEE, and how do you feel about it?

Oh, and if you were thinking of getting one, please don't hesitate to ask questions.

Have you heard anything about price? A larger screen would be nice...
