I got a wild and busy life. Lotsa time and not much time to enjoy it. I'm after communication to build respect and understanding and a relationship where I can drop in on somebody, spend 45 mins to 2 hours whilst I drink soda and coffee and snack (usually on weekends) and where she visits my place, mostly on Fri nights, 7-11 or so or weekends for a couple of hours at a time.

Things are moving slowly. Hard to meet the locals on this site, but am working on it f2f locally and such.

trouble is I'm at about ground zero currently. How do I get there from here? Any suggestions?

Thanks.

(time trouble's due to work and commuting. I'm tied up 4:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. monday thru Friday and most Sunday mornings so I gotta do the short visit thing and all that. Also helps with my short attention span and impatience, you know?)

Erm, I would suggest something, but I think it's inappropiate for the boards. So never mind. Yeah, good luck with that though.

Got something to say, please share it. Send it to my mail box if you don't want to post it here. If it ain't nice, that's OK. I'm looking for whatever input can be provided, hopefully positive.

I could be off base with this whole concept, I realize.

My last two relationships (ended in marriages both) were both long distance relationships conducted largely through correspondence and phone calls.

Amd right now, about all the time I have for conventional dates'd be about a Saturday or two (at most) each month.

So, I'm looking for alternatives and/or a way to make the one or two a month thing work.

Fire away.

Geo.

But you need to make fun of me by being sarcastic? Good to know how the rules work on here, I was a bit unclear, so glad you cleared THAT up.

Thanks for the invitation, but I don't really care enough to go to all that trouble. Makes no difference to me what you do. I'll be sure to avoid your posts in the future, since according to hikerchick, I have a tendency to "make fun of people." LOL, I guess we're back in kindergarten now.

aome people are really only good at being mean, rude, and immature. The good news is, they usually get tired of people telling them that and they eventually go away.
