Has it ever occurred to You that many Women seem to be living in Disneyland?....allow Me to clarify,,,while I DUCK....!in Their world, everything seems to be pretty, pink, primping,powder, perfume & panties...( 99.999 % of Men are anything but THAT, continuing ) They want Their ideal mate to be faithful, courteous, kind & obediant...( before They've even MET US, there's a good one ) and They want independance,yet demand at least some chivalry ( open Your own door Sister...)It would seem We have a conflict of interest here, headed to a strong disagreement ).......Please Ladies, I know the dinner bell has just been rung, I know You want to feed on Me while I'm still breathing, but I want to Hear from the MALES on this one.....any thoughts Gentlemen?...........KJH I am VERY capable of opening my own doors AND doors for others. AND I am tom boy as well and pink is NOT my favorite color. Kind sir I will have you know I don't live in Disneyland...I like to powder and perfume but only for a man that deserves it.
And I want a man who is going to be honest and loving and yes faithful. Obedient is not a word that I like. You need to get your head right smack out of your butt and get a life. the revealing part of your comment is in the middle where you say the women want independence yet also want chivalry - and you object that these are somehow incompatible. but they aren't. the problem is that some guys do not realize that independence is needed in a healthy relationship. not total independence of course - that implies no relationship. although in a close relationship there is a lot of interdependence it is vital that each partner know that this is choice of teamwork for the betterment of each other. the heart of your issue is how much independence and how much interdependence there should be in a relationship. launch the lifeboats! man overboard!

ok I am a feminist and clearly believe in egalitarianism. So this sister opens her own door, I pay my own bills, I raise my son by myself, I don't want disneyland b/c it is fantasy and fun.
I know that relationships take work, but commitment, honest and open communication is what makes them work. But on the other hand, having a guys take the extra steps to treat me good will get my attention! |
