meh.. just told some people that americans are spoiled. they already got pissy with me since i said ice cream is a luxury, so i figured i'd make it worse. asked a string of do you need this and that. there are so many things in life that people take for granted and don't realize that they're not actually required for normal life.

and tons of people can save money if they sell their new car and buy a reliable beater. save money on not only gas, but insurance. in some cases the money saved in gas during a month could allow you a 200 some dollar a month car payment on something more efficient...

40mpg can save you a lot of cash

it's whatever, i'm off to bed.

you know, this summer i'll probably get a bike. most every one gets at least 40mpg, some of the tiny ones get up to 70 or more. they're cheap not only in cost but insurance is dirt as well.

I enjoy intellectual debates, where we can agree to disagree. But yes, you are right, there are too many who would rather attack you for your beliefs than to debate them.

But that was one of the most intellectually empty arguements I have ever heard...
