Topic: How Lethally Stupid Can One Country Be? | |
---|---|
this is a great article it realy drives a stake into the issue and hits home. I realy dont buy into that opinion that we are the world policeman being that all the politicaly connected corperations are profiting nicely from this war, its simply a scam played apon us to benefit certain industries that are connected to the bush crime family. they truly are laughing all the way to the bank |

Wish I could "cut & paste" that entire book in here. Seems the way opinions are expressed? I preferr to read & then type MY opinion. Still wonder, if folks are so unhappy with this country; WHY DO YOU STAY? I love my country and I am ashamed that WE have allowed such a baffoon in office to ruin our country and try to ruin other countries. He makes us all look bad to the world. We should not allow one man and his sick ideals take us this far ever again. Hopefully we are paying attention and learning from one of the biggest mistakes we have ever made. It wasn't one man. congress voted too. We as a people also voted him back into office after 9/11. Like I said, quit trying to blame everything on one person. I am tired of all these blamethrowers. |

Still wonder, if folks are so unhappy with this country; WHY DO YOU STAY? Who said I stayed??? Like it or not we are a watchdog to the world and our best efforts to make things better do not always work out the way they were intended.I believe that the intent is , in most cases , honorable. We have alot to do in our own house before we run off and change the world but thats not how it works.
Maybe if you (USA) learned to mind your own business, stop interfering in the affairs of other countries, and quit arrogantly acting like you're doing it for any reason other than national self interest you might be able to stop pretending to be Canadians when you travel abroad.... ABSOLUTELY correct! We should stop ALL aid to third world countries and tell them we will be minding our own business now. It is already happening for your country so you should be very happy. The billions of dollars that were GIVEN to Argentina to help pay the interest on the loans your government made to try and help a country whose population is OVER 50% in poverty was ASKED FOR and happily received while your president was blowing Chavez behind the podium and being guaranteed oil into the future along with increased exports to them. There is a lot of communist sympathy in Argentina. What the hell is wrong with you people? Have you seen Cuba lately? I think your idea is a great idea. No more financial aid or military aid and protection. Did I say your buddy Chavez is a crazy psychopathic dictator? I meant to. When will you start planting Chavez's cash crops? I want to see the same thing happen to him as Castro and it hasn't happened yet but I hope it will. I forgot to bring up Argentina's example of political correctness. Chavez was illegally financing your presidents campaign and had two men moving $800,000.00 in cash of the illegal contributions through Miami's airport. Two airport inspectors caught them. Your president was embarrassed and pissed. They were doing their jobs. The money was not declared. But she is your president. I despise communists. |

I'll ask yet again. Why aren't those who are using Bush as a punching bag for Iraq punching even harder on Congress for giving him the money to fund this thing? President Bush can send troops to the moon but he cannot fund it. And without the funding none of this would have really ever happened. It wouldn't be because congress was controlled by the Democrats for most of this, would it?
Writing a check for something you consider immoral and then complaining when it is cashed makes for a pretty lousy stage from which to preach. -Drew |

Madison--but they bought the reasons! Congress not only funded this thing but they signed off on it. As for cutting funding and risking being accused of not supporting the troops, a first year politico could spin that to say that cutting funding is the ultimate way to support them in that they would be coming home.

yeah, we do care madison. Or at least we should. This is why i would like to see some accountability for the trillions being spent in Iraq. Cuz you know and i know, there is a big portion of that money unaccounted for. And i don't think there is as much being spent on equipment as they say. That makes me start asking questions. I think it would help tramendously if we made the government as a whole become more responsible with their spending. Just a few reports saying what exatly the money was spent on. Try writing your representative on that issue, most either turn their head or won't bring it up. Trust me, I've tried. Although I did get at least a response back in Utah. |

Bush doesn't have sumpreme control...No one does. The president isn't the king
that goes for all of the presidents....past, present and future Not sure how EVERYTHING is blamed on one person. Do we not vote? Are there not the senate, house of reps, govenors, mayors etc? |

here's a link I have found....since we are doing links.
http://www.capmag.com/article.asp?ID=3691 this shows the economy started to go down during Clinton. Yes, Bush couldn't fix it but like I said...he's not supreme ruler and has to go through others as well blaming one person for everything is saying he has ALL the control when this country doesn't work that way |

is a great article about the role of the president |

Rose bush isnt one man he is his fahers son, George Bush senior in adition to being president was also Reagans VP and prior to that head of the CIA. Bush has in place many of the same people who served reagan and his father, this isnt some guy they drafted for president it is a man well connected, unfortunatly for america he is the idiot son. Bush's connections to the Saudi's are well documented at this point and his connections to the other Elites of the world is also well documented. would it please you that in the future we blame Bush and his team for the failures of the country? No matter how you slice or dice it america has been raped and brutalised by BUsh and his team

but again...you are blaming 1 person
last I checked...congress and the house have both sides of the parties there |
|

|
The President is the head of the executive branch and plays a large role in making America’s laws. His job is to approve the laws that Congress creates. When the Senate and the House approve a bill, they send it to the President. If he agrees with the law, he signs it and the law goes into effect.
is the 1st paragraph of that link I posted. again congress, senate, the house...isn't just one party |

like you just said...it's rep and dem
both sides. You give one man too much credit with power. This country is designed to prevent one man's rule. it's in all parties. The economy actually started going down during Clinton's admin. It happens |
