Whoops I mean dates, does it take to get a sense of who someone is as a person? I know it depends on the person, but what would you say is average.

I think you should have a pretty good feel after 2or3 depending on how much you talk to them inbetween..

6-12...At least after the 6th I'll know if they are married or have a boyfriend, and at 12 will realize whether or not I can either run faster or hit harder than them.
