i once travelled about 4,000 miles to see a guy i have met online. it was the only way to find out! And? What did you find out? 
well....it turned out he was a real jerk. but finding that out was worth each single mile i travelled !
by the way, that was my 2nd date with someone i met online. for the first date i travelled about 10 miles (he was so boring, i almost faked my own death to get out)
