O.k. so I took my daughter to the orthodontist today to find out if she needs braces. HE OF COURSE SAID YES AND LAID IT ON ME. $4200.00 I about died. How can it be so much for some little teeth. I needed to vent!!!!!!!!!

You know what....I can't believe how Doctors and Dentists can live with themselves by ripping people off like they do....it's not right....not right at all....

my sons have perfect teeth...none of my kids have had so much as a cavity...then comes my daughter who is petrified of the dentist/orthodontist and lives in orthodontia hell...i have good insurance but damn everytime we go it's some new crazy procedure for her to endure...arggggg

i know its a rip off and aint right but after she gets them and you see her new improved smile youll see you did the right thing

That's how much my braces cost, and my mom is still paying for them in payments, but now we found out that I might get them off early, but they can't take them off until they are fully paid, and my mom still owes a lot of money, which is why (and she doesn't know otherwise she won't take it) I will get a job, of which I DO need, and help her pay for it. It's the least I could do, and my smile will look beautiful once these damn things come off.

yep, my youngest needs them.. but first they want to put something in the roof of his mouth.. it has a little thingamajug on it that ya have to turn every once in a while.. supposedly to open up his pallet? (sp?) Sounds like some kinda torture device to me...

<<<<<<Feeling your pain.... We have 3 more baby teeth to loose first, we have been to the orthodontist every 6 months checking on the progress of this for my daughter since the age of 6, with NO INSURANCE... Thank god her dad actually pays his child support!!!

My daughter has to have them, her bottom teeth were coming in in rows and across, and also her jaw line is to small. We have a great dentist and ortho. That is one thing I said would take priority of something else is my childrens teeth. They will not walk around with a jacked up mouth, not as long as I am breathing.
