Way off Topic here, but I am very excited. We here in Wisconsin have been trying to find proof that we have cougars living in our State. The DNR denies it, some people claim they try to hide all evidence. well tonight I was handed a photo copy of a dead cougar, supposedly hit by a car north of here. I am trying to confirm, no luck so far.

Yes it is a shame that he is dead, but this is the proof needed to get DNR to admit they are here & decide how to deal with them.

I have been following a thread in Topix for about a year on Cougars in Wisconsin, & no mention of this there, or on any local media sites. Maybe it is not true, I do not know the people it came from, I happened to be at the copier when they were making a copy of the photo.

Of course not, I love living in a state that still has real wild life! I have seen several bears & I think I saw a wolf, but not sure. Possible it was a dog.

Yes I love nature, but then again I am also very much for the rights of property owners also. I think the key is Educating people to love & live with native plants & animals. I feel so lucky to see the awsome creatures around here!
