Started walking to where I don’t know

ROSE COVERED GATE - CCP
Twisted and black
Gnarled and shriveled
Was my soul
Wandering through time
Looking for an answer
Never finding what I was looking for

I saw a beautiful gate before me
On my twisted path
Covered in roses and ivy vines
Sun shining so brightly upon it
A welcome sign hanging askew
I ran as fast as I could
Running full speed to the gate

I stopped just before it
Breathing hard
Scared to take that step
What if crossed my mind a thousand times
Fear ran through out my body
I closed my eyes
Took a deep breath
Pushed the gate open
And took that step

I wish I could say whats on my mind,
But im afraid you wouldnt think its time.
