Cougars are women who date men who are more then 20 years younger. :0) Well I don't know if your 'stats' are correct .. but I date guys usually 15-25 years younger. And other women do to. Well I wonder then if I am a cougar. I date younger guys as well. It seems that is what I am attracted to. I have only dated a couple of guys that were my age or older. The only problem I encounter is that I have older kids and do not want more kids. So the younger men are wanting a family and all. So its usually not long term

The only problem I encounter is that I have older kids and do not want more kids. So the younger men are wanting a family and all. I was just looking around at profiles out of curiosity and came across one that said "no cougars please." I actually prefer younger men, but maybe 5-7 years difference. It seems that the only guys who show any interest in me these days are substantially younger than me. So I'm facing a dilemma here: either I step out of my comfort zone and date younger men, or I stay alone. Does this make me a cougar? In my opinion women never are old. In my case, i prefer women older than me. I think age is not important for dating. |

I understand the OPers problem, I had nothing but young guys asking me out for a couple years and finally I just started going out with them. We had fun. I would not want to get serious with someone that much younger than me though for alot of reasons but mainly we are at different stages in our lives, they are beginning the starting the family faze and I will soon be an empty nester. Too much difference there. But they were fun to be with and some of the younger guys these days have a better grasp on what women like and how to treat them. Either that or I found some really together guys. Enjoy it. |

I understand the OPers problem, I had nothing but young guys asking me out for a couple years and finally I just started going out with them. We had fun. I would not want to get serious with someone that much younger than me though for alot of reasons but mainly we are at different stages in our lives, they are beginning the starting the family faze and I will soon be an empty nester.
