I held the rock in my hand
It felt solid(for now)
and so did I
But that would change
The inevitable backward/forward?
Slide toward entropy
Grasping my soul once again
The touch of an old friend
Who having spent too much
Time in the ice and snow
Just needed to feel the warmth
Again
All thoughts erode
All hearts slow down
The impericle evidence is everywhere
Yet some how I doubted the findings
Is that faith?
Or false hope?
The human race runs on false hope
Our bread and butter
Keeping us alive
We are sucessful above all
Because we can lie
To our selves
About anything
Eroding even the truth
But then again even the truth
Is eroding these days
More falsehood that fact these days
Still Hope prevails
Small pockets of resistance
Growing like tubeworms
At the bottom of the ocean
Away from the light of erosional
Lies
Erosional Beliefs
Beliefs are worse than lies
You can change a lie if it doesn't work
Hard to change a religion
Is changing a mind just a simple
Chemical form of erosion?
What about changin a life?
