how hard is it for people to understand that if people didn't hunt,we would be over populated with Deer,Turkey,Squirrel....etc??? getting tired of people whining about people trying to feed their families!    Dude, you hunt squirrels? How sporting is that?!? It's harder than you think! My daughter tried it. |

If they hunt to provide food for their tables, what is wrong with that?  people don't need to do a lot of things that they do...meat in a grocery store is very expensive - some of the families in the country here in rural PA are poor - without that meat it would be difficult for them to make it through the winter..I don't think it is right to hate them for that. I sincerely doubt that deer will be hunted to extinction.  |

You are a very close minded person to hate someone for their recreational past-time that does nothing to harm you. I feel sorry for you. No, I am not a hunter, but I have no dislike for them I am not close minded. Hunters are everything that I am against in life. I like to save animals, not kill them Do you not understand that by hunting some animals you are in fact helping them. Population control is as important as other aspects of conservation. We have effectively taken the role as predator to assist nature sure have, but I don't see how that plays in this thread read more young friend. Birds were almost extinct? The american bald eagle was, but that had to do with a fertilizer called ddt thinning the shells of the unborn chicks and the mothers crushing them. The fertilizer was used to grow CROPS. Your name calling is childish, and really shows your maturity level. The bufalo, and most animals that were over hunted was prior to conservation efforts, and is not applicable today |

I have to say, I hunt, and I don't how you see raising animals in small dispicable farms for the slaughter is more humane than hunting your own food.
There are laws regulating how many animals are allowed to be hunted, if the numbers are too low, than no tags are given, hunting is part of human nature, remember your stone age friend was growing wheat, it was chasing down those wooly mammoths! |

Just think if Bunnies weren't delicacies some where. Rabbits f'ck like bunnies and reproduce at an astonishing rate!
And look at Australia, someone brought a couple frogs down there from some where else. And in a few years, there were so many of them, they had to start killing them, because their ecosystem down there had very few predators to control the frog population. |

Buffalo were killed for sport, that is not what most of us are talking about here. I know I am talking about people killing animals for food...just doing it for sport is wrong and wasteful.

When the deer population is to high and a bad winter
there's not enough food for them. They starve then you get disease. I don't hunt but it does have its place |

Deer hunting is strictly controlled. They are not going to be hunted to extinction. Besides, I let them hide on my property during hunting season.
