It is one to want to shelter our children from what we feel is supposed to be a private thing between consenting adults...

I trust it is not the fact it was two men who you suspect were having sex, that has you upset?

I am hoping what has upset you, is that two PEOPLE were having sex in a public place, where children were about...

You have done all you can do, and done what you felt compelled to do...

I am still curious as to what has you so angered... and why.

If one of my children had witnessed that, and asked me what was going on, I would have said, ' I am not sure, but it appears, they may have been having some private time, in the woods there, and we startled them."

Even if the question arose, "Why was that man doing his pants up, Mum?" I would answer, I don't know, but I think he may having been taking a wee, behind that tree."

I don't advocate kids being exposed to outright acts of sex between two consenting adults, in public, in a place they felt safe to play as children, without the adult world encroaching on them. Although having said that, I am still fascinated as to what the outrage really is about in this thread.


And just to add my two bob's worth, yes, any moron CAN breed, but only exceptional people can parent a child.

Im not mad anymore, since I told the police. I just feel pissed because the park, during the day, should be a place where families and kids can go, without having to deal with the daily streses of life, and have fun. Not having to worry about some freaks in the woods near by doing who knows what!

I've seen a lot in my life, and have done some crazy stuff. But would never do anything crazy or stupid in front of children. To me it made me think pedophile.

I stick with my beliefs and will leave it at that. I could have cared less whether it were two men, two women, or man and woman. I know what I heard, and what I saw. I wasn't born yesterday.

Anyhow, I didn't post this to argue with people about their views on men having sex in a public park. I just needed to vent. So just leave me alone now, cause Im sick of rehashing it.

Kitten we have the same problem here in Lincoln I was walking my dog last summer and came upon same thing I dont care what people do in their bedrooms but in public is another thing ( although if it would have been 2 women, I wouldnt not have bben bothered, terrible, I know!!!)

I mean, if you don't mind having people having sex in public near your children, then thats YOUR problem. But I'm not going to stand for it, and I did and will continue to do something about this crap.

And people wonder whats wrong with the world today.

I am not sure why you appear in your posts so cranky.

The world has had people copulating all over it for thousands of centuries.... outdoors, indoors, all over the place... it was just unfortunate it was near children.

I would think if I had just come in from the park with my child and witnessed such an event, I might be pretty freaked out and want to ventilate myself. There are such close calls with children and situations we wish they were not around. When that happens I think we naturally get upset.

I would think coming upon two people having sex in a public place would be enough to disturb anyone, even the most open minded, laid back person.
