Yes and it happens b/c you grow to care about them, their personality, intelligence, sense of humor, how they treat you so the "ok" looks become handsome... That's the reason for the saying "beauty is only skin deep"... so many can be beautiful on the outside and very ugly on the inside...

Yes, it's happened to me... it's all about chemistry. It doesn't necessarily always start out with ones outer appearance. A persons personality can be quite sexy, appealing, etc. which makes them so beautiful/handsome in your eyes (I love that feeling)

My last gf used to be totally goth a few years back, and my friends were all puzzled because she was so different from the type they normally saw me with. But the compatibility was so intense that it wouldn't have mattered if she dressed up like an ostrich. "Beauty" can go completely against "type" under the right circumstances.
