There has been alot of discussion about which is better and in fact not opinion the Xbox 360 rises way above the PS3. They both have the (SAME) graphics intel the highest in performance the 360 is actually better in HD because of microsoft's cutting edge technology. Also on the xbox 360 you can achieve gamer points to show what kind of gamer you are and have your own xbox 360 profile. Xbox live for microsoft has always beaten sony's online gaming also. Ive never played a decent game on the PS2-PS3 for online. Also the 360 just needs to be well ventelated for example you cant put it on top of anything else that produces any kind of heat or will block the fans. Keep it free from dust and you will also see that you have kept it free from the 3 flashing rings of death. Also if you are having this problem sometimes it isnt entirely the console itself try the resolution steps. I dont know a whole lot about PS3 either but im pretty sure it doesent have a huge removable hard drive on the side either so you can take it over to a friends house. Screw the PS3 and go with Xbox 360 trust me. The best games that came out 2007-2008 were only made for 1st Xbox 360 2nd Nintendo Wii 3rd PS3 many of the games that come out on Xbox 360 are also avaliable on the PS3 i know but there are alot of games for Xbox 360 that will always destroy the competition for example Halo 3 or Two Worlds. Coming up is Fable 2 the long stressed RPG of the future and it's only for Xbox 360.

the x-box controller...is what keeps me on sony

it depends onthe person,both have their pros and cons.xbox 360 as the red ring of death and will eventually shut down(but the newer versions are way better than the first versions.plus the 360 has a huge selection of games,plus all the hardcore gamers are at xbox live.the ps3 controller sometimes diconnects from the ps3,causing frustration,aslo not a huge selection of games.but some exclusives are coming out like metal gear,and killzone.also it plays blue ray.

The Xbox controllers were rated alot better but i havent used the PS3's much at all. I got a rechargable battery packs for mine and it's never ran out of battery's since then i have played for like an entire week without charging it. Do not use regulare rechargable battery though you will run them down very fast. Fable 2 is going to have "Couch Co-op" so far that's it. It means you cant play xbox live with a friend they have to be at your house. Xbox 360 is the way to go. The biggest reason is gamer score you can show what kind of gamer you are and how many gamer points you have on your profile. I already stressed the three rings of death. The solution is dont beat up your xbox 360 if you lose at a game and dont stuff it somewhere where it cant breathe... just think of it as a costerphobic system.

Nintendo Wii

Well yes the topic says (PS3 vs. Xbox 360) the Xbox 360 smashes the Wii in graphics by far but the Xbox360 wasent made for the fun looking remote controls the Wii has. If your fat and need exercise i recommend the Wii but if your an intense online gamer that loves the cool looking graphics Xbox 360 is the way to go. The only good games there will ever be for Wii in my opinion and many other fans are the Mario Games. Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Mario Galaxy, Mario Party and things like paper Mario and all the rest of them. You wont be playing HD Halo 3 on your Nintendo Wii sorry or your PS3 for that matter. Also when your playing Army of Two on your PS3 your not going to get achievments for beating the game and thus when Fable 2 comes out your PS3 wont be playing that. Atleast so far it's only for Xbox 360 like that of the original Xbox Fable.
