Topic: Need Your Opinion

Besides this site, I've signed up for a handful of others including paid
sites.
There is one site which I'm not a paid member of that I'm getting almost
once a day a message from a female that likes my profile or wants to get
to know me etc. Todays said "I saw your profile and pic and decided you
were what I was looking for."
Now, like I said, I'm a member of other dating sites and get nothing
even the worlds largest free dating site where anybody can email me for
free and get nothing not even hotlisted.
Do you thing that this is a scam from that particular dating site to get
me to pay $29.95 to become a paid member?
What would you do?
If I become a paid member and respond to these girls and get nothing
then I will be very let down.

Thanks
Steve

It's not just "she" it's about a dozen other women who have very
realistic profiles that live in different small towns withing 50 miles
of me.

Well I found out that this site (among others) it copying profiles from
other sites.
My gut instinct was that it was a scam but I just wanted a second
opinion.

You usually have 3 days to cancel your membership and you pay
nothing...read all the fine print...I know you can on Y personals. If
you become a pying member & feel that it is just a scam then cancel
withing the 3 days...hope this helps a little...Kaffey

Yeah, I agree. The free sites are the way to go although you still have
to fish through scammers and webcam promoters.
Even someone who owns a free site can make good money. Plentooffish
makes close to $500,000 a month just in Google ads.

I have a fairly new myspace account but it's generally for my music
myspace.com/stevejacksonmusic and I have done a little searching on
there for women in my area and it still seems hard to meet somebody for
dating/friends. It seems that if a woman suspects that you are adding
them as a friend for the purpose that you are interested in them for a
future date then I get rejected. I'm sure this is all my imagination but
that's just the way I'm feeling.
