it was just an honest mistake like anyone can make...and restitution?....nothing because if she wasn't illegal she wouldn't have been held in the first place...plus now she isn't not being held until the trial like she was going to be after the initial hearing...

Illegal or not, like previousy stated, shes a humanbeing, It sucks, and I would be pissed as hell. But what can she really do about it, NOTHING. Accept their 'ooops, we're sorry' half hearted apology and leave as quickly as she can, if she's lucky she will 'get' to stay here without INS knocking on her door and shipping her back to her more perfect and wonderful country.

restitution? not everybody is entitled to money in this country, for the most part you have to work for it. only criminals, like this lady, would consider making some quick doe for doing something illegal in the first place.

i can go quite some time with nothing to drink...eventually, i'm still going to have to urinate as my body finishes processing the last drink that i DID have...
