dear diary...........speaking of fires I heard on the news yesterday that them Glade plug ins start alot of house fires it's already been snoped out... http://www.snopes.com/inboxer/household/glade.asp but, on the other hand the high intensity high temperature torchiere style quartz halogen lamps are VERY dangerous!! http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html?res=9C06E3D91E38F935A25752C0A961958260 toys or anything which is thrown or placed next to these high temperature exposed bulbs can ignite rapidly and start a serious fire!! say if the lamp is tipped over against some drapes for example... 
they should not be used around littler kids... |

its a night light , sometimes I wonder why it doesnt catch on fire when I walk past it ......
