Topic: VOTE FOR SALE!!! (red or blue) | |

That's kinda where I am..
I remember when Jimmy Carter was elected. I felt doomed then and I feel that way today. Damned if you do, Damned if you dont. Thats why Im selling my vote. If someone can convince me that their candidate is the man (or Hillary) They'll get it!! I dont want to hear any of that, because shes a woman, or because hes black!! History will be made if we can regain our national precedence on the world stage, and our ecenomy at home. |

There's no way I could vote for Hillary. The Clintons have run a dirty, negative campaign while Obama has tried to take the high road. McCain has also tried to take the high road, even though he has to distance himself from every stupid comment a Republican says. |

I consider myself ideologically Republican although I voted for Bill Clinton, Al Gore, and John Kerry. I’m not too proud of the Kerry vote but W is the worst thing that has ever happened to America. I’m leaning in the McCain direction for a couple of reasons. First, hard core extreme right wingers hate him just a little bit less than I hate them. Second, I’m uncomfortable with the idea of one party holding both houses and the Oval Office. It was a disaster with the Republicans and it would be with the Democrats. Not that there is that much of a difference between them anyway. I’m pretty sure that the Democrats have it in the bag this time so my streak of voting for losers will most likely remain unbroken.

I agree with the statement 'W is the worst thing that has ever happened to America' 100%!!! Would it be a disaster for so much power to be concentrated in the hands of one party (the Democrats)? I don't know. Time will tell. |
