I have avg for my virus program, its telling me its turned off and it won't update. As far as i know i haven't touched it, any help would be appreciated.

I have it too, did you check your settings. Mine is on a schedule..

I sure did Pat's, it always updates at the same time everyday and today it gave me that message saying its turned off.

nahh no virus, i use AVG but dont bother with it much, so to tell you whats wrong i no not, however a re-install would fix that. Maybe you managed to accidently try to get the pro version or some trial copy in which it expired, try installing the free version even if this is not the case im sure itll fix the problem

try reinstalling it, same thing happened to me last week
