Topic: rain or shine... | |

A vertically challenged man (ok, we'll call him a midget)lived in a high rise building on the 22 floor. He would take the elevator down in the mornings when he left for work, and when he came home, he would take the stairs, but only on sunny days. On rainy days, he would take the elevator both in the morning and in the evening when he came home.
Why? |

Because he was too short to press 22 unless he had his umbrella with him, and used it to press the button. |

I TAKE IT THE STAIRS WERE OUTSIDE UP THE SIDE OF THE BUILDING...............

Hey Lex, did you already know the answer, or did you figure it out? Years ago, I heard a variation of the same riddle but without the umbrella part and without revealing that the guy was short. The point was that he used the elevator in the morning and the stairs when he came home, and you had to figure out why. |

Hey you know what... its been years since I heard it too, and I think you are correct. I shouldn't have said he was short. My bad. But kudos to you for remembering. So to anyone who wants to stump (ha ha) someone, leave out the midget part (no offense to any vertically challenged people)
