Topic: Any ex-Navy people here? | |

I'd love to hear from you.
I went in 1984, under the DEP program right out of high school. I went to RTC Orlando for boot camp and then went to NTTC Meridian Mississippi for "A" School. My first duty station was in Arlington, Virginia and my last was onboard the USS Mount Vernon based out of San Diego, CA. |

You had some outstanding experiences. What was your rating? I was in the Army for 23.5 years and am currently pursuing opportunities in the Government sector. I'm employed by the US Census Burea as a GS4 currently and am trying to get on with the Post Office. Good lubk to you. You'll find that civilian people don't have as much structure or mutual respect as military people.

I recently became a "Navy Wife"... my husband's been in 11 years. He currently is stationed in Guam.
Just wanted to say THANK YOU for your service and sacrifices. |

You're welcome. But if you really want to thank us just stand by your man. We have all seen the effects of "Dear John" letters. What effects one of us effects all of us.
