How many of you are actually willing to go meet the man you interested in. Would you be the one to travel or do you expect the man to come meet you?

I've already met him and we met 1/2 way to our mutual destination. Actually, it took him abut 10 mins. and me about 2..

Now, if it were of great distance, I would prefer him to come to me. And if he was interested enough, I think he would naturally be willing to travel, considering he's the man (my opinion).. probably for safety reasons, etc.

I tend to drive to the guy for some reason. Never have them to my place until I truly get to know them.

with my babysitting concerns,I would rather he traveled to me.If arrangements could be made,I would meet him half way.

For some reason...the guys I talk to want "me" to drive up and see them. They seem to have really good jobs compared to my waitressing job. And they expect me to drive with the gas price at 3 dollars plus? I'm willing to drive a state or two...but that is as far as I'm going (unless I'm going to visit my relatives up North).

it's probably been half and half.

I say whoevers schedule is less hectic should make the 1st trip. Then (if they like each other and if possible) they can take turns.

I see a few ladies would that are on this forum, but what i have noticed that the ones I have met in the past are not willing. They want the guy to do all the work. I myself don't mind traveling to meet someone. Hell I drove 2 hours ones just to prove a girl wrong. She didn't think i would drive out there just to give a kiss and left and went home

We both took a trip to Baltimore to meet face to face te first time. Things went fantastic and I then spent Thanksgiving with him and his family.......

and he is coming to visit me in two days!!!!!! He will meet my family and plans to do something old-fashioned and romantic.....talk to my Dad and Mom.

I have noticed that a lot of the women on here are expected to do most of the traveling. I have also noticed that sometimes the men are not there when they reach their destination...what is up with that any ways?
I myself have always had the men meet me here in my town. I guess its because I feel safer in my comfort zone. Plus I still have a few issues going on and I don't like to travel to far from home.
Now I am thinking about venturing off to Vegas..that is way out of my comfort zone, but I think it will be well worth it! Who knows, time will only tell.
I think it just depends on your situation, I guess both people have to decide, whatever works best for both of you.

This guy'll usually go to meet the lady if she lives close. I think 30 or 40 miles'd be about the most I'd travel. I'd talk to anyone on e-mail and IM here, though. It's all about establishing relationships and learning to relate, I reckon. I think my last sweetheart got tired of my games, though. She'd come to meet me once and I asked her to come to my town again and she said, sorry, she was working on a relationship with somebody else. So, we had a couple of dates (I went down south to see her once) and it broke off. Most of my money goes to support a concern I'm affiliated with so if my sweetheart isn't up for that and is expecting me to spend a bunch of bucks (which I don't have), then I find other things to do, I reckon. I'd travel, but not a whole lot. Ideally, I'm looking for someone who'd come by and hang out with me at home and invite me to her house to see how she keeps house and lives. After that, I might be ready to start running around a little bit. Also, I'm leery of traveling a lot in the rotten weather we've been having this winter and in my present state of health. Once the weather warms up and my shoulder gets better, I'd be a bit more inclined to travel. Ideally, I'll find someone where I work. I'd love to move down to Jefforsonville Indiana, but I'd still be associated with the church up here. I'm kind of attached to my present location, you know?
