So im doing a rebuttal paper for my argument paper that has to be 10 pages long on illegal immigration. can anyone give me there opinion on why they SHOULD be here please?

I have 100's of relatives ranging from Mexican,Colombian, and Italian....Not a single one of them would agree with Illegal immigration! Even know I wouldnt be here!

There is going to be so many opinions on this.


My main opinion is if your working like the rest of us to make a living then there shouldn't be any problem. I just hate people that live of the system. I could go on about othere things but it wouldn't be me to do so today.

There is NO good reason for someone to be here illegally...

The only thing that could even come close is that if they live in a country that is under military law... it is unsafe, and coming to this country is safer then being in their own... but they still should do it legally....

They should be here for TWO very important reasons
1.) It proves the INS is not doing their job. If you don't do your job at work, do they keep you?? If they are not doing their job, dismantle it. There's a few million dollars we can use somewhere else.

2.) It proves the border patrols are not doing their job. Once again, get rid of it. There's another couple million. Boy, is the national deficit dropping or what?

Off course you cannot leave out the FBI or the NAS. But they have other departments that have nothing to do with this. Dismantling these departments is not possible, but you can remove the section that deals with illegals. Apparently they are not doing their job either. Another million or so dollars saved.

The argument that they are under manned does not hand-in-hand with the fact they are over funded.

It is a complicated issue,...but nobody should come to the US illegally,....(according to the laws). They should try the right way!!!, However, some people are honest and play an important role in the american economy, we cannot deny that!. On the other hand, some of them break the laws. I think is better to stop the masive migration,...but become legal to people who are productive and give something to the society.

how about this for a scenerio .. your children are starving .. you live in poverty with little of no hope of any change where you are .. you think if you can get to America you can eat better out of garbage cans then you can in your own country .. your children can get an education .. I would do that for my kids and any parent that wouldn't is a liar .. how about the whole land of opportunity?? jeesh people

I would sneak in this country for my kids in a heart beat .. Most of us would we just take it for granted because we were born here .. and we know it is not the land of milk and honey .. and the streets are not paved with gold .. the rest of the world thinks we are all rich ..

Without them the crops would not get picked the chickens would not get plucked and houses would not get cleaned and the economy would suffer ..

Then you get a work permit and apply for a visa!

I have the same idea on my mind!!!!
