Math problems for fun? Well not that there's anything wrong with that, it's just that I could never look at math that way.

I'm not sure anymore. All the definitions reference computer knowledge and skill. Pretty sure I was a nerd in school, but that was before computers and during a time when a nerd could be a jock too. What does that make me now? ohwell

I went to this website that Nox posted,…

http://www.wikihow.com/Tell-the-Difference-between-Nerds-and-Geeks

Based on this website a person can be all three “Nerd, Geek, and Dork” simultaneously without violating any of the definitions.

After reading the definitions on that page I’d have to say I’m definitely a Nerd for sure. I’m deeply into calculus, and quantum physics just for the pure pleasure of it. I’m also into classical music and abstract art. Plus I fit their social ineptness description,… which means that I might also qualify as a dork.

However, a Dork implies really bad social skill. That might be me, or maybe not, I’m really not sure. I tend to be quiet and hide in the corners in public settings so that might be different from a Dork which might actually implies a more sociable person but who just acts like a dork whilst being sociable. I am trying to become more sociable and I’m probably being a dork about it, but I’m learning, so maybe owl end up being cool and shedding my dorkieness.

I’m really analyzing this deeply which means that I might have a tendency to be a Geek as well. laugh

In fact the website states that all Nerds are Geeks, but not all Geeks are Nerds. The website places Nerds on a higher intellectual level than Geeks. Or at least on a level of being more serious about their studies. Geeks tend to memorize trivia and useless things like that just for fun, whilst Nerds deal with things more involved with logic and actual thinking on a more serious level.

I don’t think I’m much of a Geek in that I’m not interested in trivia or useless information just for fun. I’m much more of a Nerd to be sure.

So I’m probably more of a Nerd than either a Dork or a Geek.

Although, going through this whole analysis was kind of a Geekish thing to do and made me feel like a Dork. laugh

End of analysis.
