GR you apparently have no clue on prayer, things that happen badly will
happen whether there's prayer or not simply for the reason Satan has
rule over earth, it was given unto him by God until christs return.
Prayers can help individuals because God has not given up on his people
and the people that seek him. There will one day be world peace but by
then those who are left to witness it are condenmed for the most part.
If you do not have God in your life or believe in him then you will be
blind to him until you decide to open your heart to him. elad7 sorry the
lord does not hear all prayers, sinners that have not sought God's
redemption of forgiveness, are foresaken by God. So the bible says. This
is my last post on the subject, I can talk till I am blue in the face
and no-one is going to understand anything until they believe in God and
read the bible word for word. Before one reads the bible they should
really read a book called the dispensations. It puts the bible into a
clearer focus and makes parts of it more understandable. Peace
out.........

SOOOO many people think that prayer is ASKING SOMETHING FROM
GOD...Sometimes, we MAY NEED to ask God for something, but prayer, to
me, means TALKING TO GOD, like I would my very very best friend and
relative.

yeah and too many people only talk to him when they need something and
ignore him anyother time. ok seriously last post like I said it's
really in the wrong place to begin with either religion or news section

i do have faith and i definitely belive but i don't see it work very
often. i usually pray about someone else getting help because i realize
that i was meant to live my life no matter what and even though i don't
know why i am suppose to go through alot of the crap i do i am fine with
it. so bring on all the crap about how my prayers do not seem to be
answered because i really do not believe and because i am weak of faith
because i know that isn't true.

We will never Know Gods plans for us...we arent supposed to.
If you have no faith and pray, then your prayer probably wont be
aswered...but, if you have faith, albeit blind faith, or even just a
little...it goes a long way..
The key is to TRUST that God knows our every need and our Father in
heaven wants us to ask for things just as our earthly parents do. We are
His children...
Also: if you are a true believer and a christian, then you should know
that praying with authority works also...That means taking biblical
points and using your knowledge in prayer and believing and know that
your answers will come...
and we need to remember that Gods time and our time are completely
different...Sometimes we have to wait upon the Lord to give us our
answers...and don't get mad as Moses did and pound the rock with your
cane in anger...(Genesis)
I do believe in the power of prayer...God has never let me down and I
know He is always there for me, no matter what...
God Bless You all...

i love this poem and i think it fits in here...

"Nothing before,nothing behind
The steps of faith
Fall on the seeming void, and find
The rock beneath"

it was written by John Greenleaf Whittier
