The kid has a GIRL calling him EVERY DAY and the poor dude doesnt have the heart to say 'Please stop calling to complain about people, it bums me out.'  
poor kid, i wish i had a girl callin me everyday and i hate phones
He hates phones as well.. Privately, I think he is quite pleased when I am on the phone and taking up his 'could be' talk time.
Must be a guy thing, my son hates the phone as well. Me, on the other hand, would love someone to talk to for hours every day
