So late last night, or early this morning, depending on which side of the planet you're on and whether or not your clock is working, I passed the elusive 8000-post milestone.

No gold watch, no presidential congratulamations, no honorary foam Pope hat. Nothin' -- what's up with that?

I suppose, in the grand scheme of things, there are more important matters in the world than one guy, on some dating site, reaching 8000 posts.

Like, maybe, 9000....?
