just witnessed a bank robbery two guys with machettes and knives came out of a bank as i was walking pass scary as hell . hurt one women, phoned police am still a bit shaken up lol..jee what a day

talking to one of the officers someone got the number plate and last i heard were chasing them so fingers crossed, feel for the women in the bank tho, its only a little one there was only three of them there, scary thing is if i had been five minutes earlier would have been in myself

Debbie.... sit down somewhere quiet.... and relax... scary stuff and yes a shock, not what's expected in one's day to day world...
See the men... were they tall? Short, heavyset? have a look around you at the door, where did they come up to on the door...what were they wearing...? Shoes? What did you notice, BEFORE the machetes and stuff? This may help the police.... the threat is gone, but your body may still be reacting to it... lots of slow calming breaths...

Yep... Debbie, do you journal? Do you keep one? Write it down... all of it... how you felt at the time... and if you can, a warm bath, then phone a friend, and ask them to come over.... Crazy way to start one's day! You are safe now, but the what if's will do your head in... the woman who was injured has medical assistance, so is in good care... you didn't walk in five minutes earlier... and that's the blessing... Be gentle with yourself..

Machetes and knives! I would sooner get shot anyday with a gun that to get HACKED with a MACHETE!
