It is, and always has been my contention, that people under the age of 18 should not be allowed on a site such as myspace. They are subject to the severely under moderated forums with the most vile and vulgar language on the internet. Quite frankly i do not know how myspace has made it this far without massive lawsuits. The site is filled with pedophiles, porn links, advertisements for sex, and is probably the most scam infested site on the internet. I have an account there, haven't checked it in over a month.

Here's an interesting note, I had an account there before the one i have now, it was deleted. Although i never have posted a single comment in their filthy forums, and only used the account for email between friends......So i asked their admins what the deal was, they couldn't tell me. If they can't keep track of one account, then how are they going to keep the pedophiles on that site away from children?

we monitor the kids and their friends and have settings on it. an adult hacked into myspace....the kids did nothing

Shouldn't it be up to the parents to monitor their kids on the internet? When my sister was under 18, she was not allowed on my pc unless, I was in the room with her and personally checked the sites myself. Parents shouldn't rely on admins and such to monitor their children, that's why we have parental controls.

I have not seen this evil side of myspace that I often hear about, I check mine daily and have had no trouble with it. That's not to say it doesn't exist, i just haven't seen it.

the kids can't use the computer unless an adult is there. i have my son's password anytime i want to check things. but like i said....this was an adult causing drama...the kids were fine
