the mood is shining bright
filling this room with its pale light
makes me think of you this cold and lonely night
it has me wondering if you want me to hold you tight
if only given a chance to prove i only want to love you and treat you right
i never want to fus or fight
but then again we just might
because sweet lady you told me your no angel in white
but to me that doesn't matter
your a beautiful sight
god knows i'm no shining knight
i've done lots of things that were not right
i guess thats what happens when you lose sight of our only light
i'm afraid if i try to hard my beautiful angel might take flight
i hope my beautiful broken angel
i didn't give you fright
all i wanted to do was make both our lives a little bright
