The heart of my soul cries out
as life is happy and sad
we bring it
we take it
we make it what its worth
to have it just spin about
The crazy tangles of emotion
that consume us every day
bring joy, sorrow, and tears
like a game of laughter and fears
The song of our hearts
lead us to do what we know is right
while we push through all these troubles
and try to stamp out all our strife
But we hold fast to our dreams
as we live out our days
hoping to bring peace to our lives
as our footsteps are left to guide.
