Fear, I'm with her on this one...I don't think you can "prove" something that hasn't happened yet.

Edit: Without controlled situations.

sox I am so glad you're here tonight.

See! With all those student loans, he couldn't figure it out his own self!laugh

He who?

You've got to admit, your picture makes the gender a very ambiguous matter. And it's not like your user name helps to identify which gender you...oh wait.
thank you. Chicks are generally female. So are nanny goats.
Sorry, thought you may be a trannie!

Well I'm not trying to gang up on anyone. Just that I see it as you do, that there is an inherent illogic in saying that anything in the future can be 'proven'.

I agree wholeheartedly with Fear that it will actually happen as predicted, and with the fact that predictions can be made very precisely concerning major global shifts...but I just don't think that 'prove' is the appropriate concept.

that is what I was going for. I neither know nor care enough about these predictions to voice an opinion on the likelihood. I just thought that using the word "prove" for something that has not happened yet was incorrect. Thanks.

I think he means that you can't sex a goat when you are wearing a bucket hat. That hasn't been proven, either.

fear's got his facts correct, we are long overdue. if yellowstone blows alone, mich. will be under 3 1/2 feet of ash. the winter will last for a decade, and blot out the sun completely, and kill 95% all wildlife, and plants, and it's building up and rising, as we speak. ....and it's way over due.
it's called a cauldren volcano, and that is just the start, it is very frajile.

Ahh yes, gender ambiguity and goat sex. Just another Monday night on JSH. drinker

Glad to be a part of it...but still not sure why buckets influence a person's sex.

I never doubted his facts, owl. I don't know enough about those things. I was reacting to the word "proven". I figure if someone can rag on me for leaving a "t" off of a word, I can get cranky too. Fear actually paid for somone else's stupidity.
