I'm just razzing you, shoes, no biggie!!  -- in the psych literature, it's usually spelled "phobes" -- My own pet peeve has to do with apostrophes -- when people write "I saw two car's with flat tire's on two different road's" -- this is 3rd grade stuff -- if it's not a contraction or a possessive, it's almost never going to have an apostrophe (yes, there are some rare exceptions, but those don't show up until 5th grade)....  |

Lex , I have to say that hanging out with Lilth and Jist has made me anal lol . Not really , it just made me realize that I should take the time to try and convey my thoughts with accuracy. I myself have trouble with has and as .. my southwestern hillbilly education befuddles me. |

It's amusing to me how so many people rush to the defense of illiterates whenever this subject is brought up. Typos are one thing. Simple human error is to be expected. Making offhand comments in a forum like this shouldn't be expected to be grammatically perfect. But in your profile where you're trying to create an image of yourself to present to the world... wouldn't you want that to look good and be clear? Then again I can't understand why some people dress the way they do and that's sort of the same thing. |
