so today is a really sad day
one of my good friends died.
he got hit by a drunk driver this
morning. he was a freshman in high
school. i vowed to never drink again in
my life.

I'm sorry to hear that sweetheart. We all have choices in life; and choosing to NOT drink is one of them. However, it doesn't mean that someone won't be on the road, carelessly & selfishly enjoying their foolishness mins. before taking ones life or changing a life (or many) forever.

I can honestly say; I DO NOT DRINK.. nor will I ever and I have more fun than those thinking they're having a blast (in drunkville). It's okay to not fit in or to be seen as uncool. Just remember, you're the wiser one in the end!!

OMG that is sooooooooooooo sad..........may his life be celebrated in happy thoughts...........

i don't drink either, because in the long term i have seen nothing but pain from these chemicals and medicines used improperly. i'm extremely sorry for your loss, and i can relate, i miss many brothers from wars and biking accidents, and alcohol, and it will be a while i hope, before i see them again, but until then they will be missed. i've enjoyed a booze free life, and i'm "awake" spiritually because of it, i'm here if you need to talk.
