im 40 and I usually get along with mature guys in their early 20's =/ and Im not sure if I am immature or if guys my age just seem a little cynical and jaded to me. but I have met some really great friends online and they are all much younger men. Its great to have them as friends but its funny cause I would like to find someone with a personality like that but closer to my age so that a relationship could at least be possible. Ill talk to anyone no matter thier age, but anything more than friends for the youngsters is against the grain for me. I just want to make friends. I agree that I would like to meet someone who is a bit less jaded or cynical. That is my job hahaha. I'm here for friends, if it turns into more than that then all the better, but Im not holding my breath. |

Wow... I never thought the discussion would go on this long... I was just questioning this. Not declaring what should be policy for JSH. Heck, I don't think age-based forums work all that well anyway since the "bracket" or range you're looking in as far as dating goes slides with your own age. And for friends why limit it to any age - hence the age thing becomes irrelevant. |
