Peace Sells...but whos buying? Hippys are about as hip as a colonostomy bag...and smell about the same... I'm hip , but I'm never going to let a redneck get me down. The term "hippie" is derived from the term "hip" or in other words," one who gets it"... There's a certain neanderthal element who doesn't get it, never did...never will...They're always ready to grunt and make faces because it's easy, requires no forethought or introspection, and they think that it gets them noticed.All that is fine by me because if nothing else, at least they're showing their true colors.To me ,hippy is an attitude that stems from the belief that tolerance is preferable to racism, that brotherhood is preferable to nationalism and that sharing and acceptance is preferable to elitism. It has absolutely nothing to do with mind altering substances or one's personal hygiene, or the lack thereof...ya dig?

i myself smoke herb but it is not my life...i know many hippies who do not partake and to call yourself a hippie does not mean that you have to smoke....i describe it as unconditional love...i feel your pain and will be your friend even through anger....
