Wow, so I payed the money to the school to keep me in student housing, yet...I'm being relocated. To a worse apartment building, for the same $1,000/m price. So we consider the option of leaving student housing. But, of course, our contract gives them the authority to relocate us to wherever the hell they please, and if we refuse, they can pack us up and force us to move. And if we decide to leave student housing, we'd be breaking the lease. And that costs $2,000. So, basically, they've got us locked.

Honey contact an attorney or ask someone about your rights ..don't assume you are screwed...

Oh, they are completely legal in everything they've done. Our contract that we signed when coming to the school allows them to do all of this. We've already scanned the thing about 16 times for loopholes. It's solid.

If your young and this is your first lease the courts may let you slide. I'd call a lawyer.

well then if there is nothing you can do about it then why are we talking about it I can't do anything about poverty yet I want to talk about it .. nor can I change the way that some people are heartless and think only of themselves .. but maybe when we share something others can learn or grow from our expericance .. or maybe we should just all remain silent in a chat forum .. makes sense to me
