johnny myth ..well he was an old man now at least by his standards a whopping forty-seven prime candidate standing in line next recipient for a heart attack but yet he struggled on to provide for him and his son life had become hard for him since the accident twelve years ago now disabled and finding his cash supply dwindling he found each month a struggle to meet the onslaught of bills how he hated going to the mail box for as he would lower the door to the mail box it always reminded him of the bill collectors with their hand out of course he would enter the occasional lottery in hopes of winning but that was such a long shot and not worth putting any faith in his son who he loved dearly was his life and he did manage to afford a little truck and it made him feel good because johnny never really had much of a father himself (insert pity here..stop pity)but johnny he never really gave it much thought instead he would raise the younger fatherless kids seems the war had caused alot of fathers to bail once they came back but on johnny went taking care of one kid in particular a rather scrawny boy who couldnt fend off the neighborhood bullies but johnny never had a problem when it came to fights because he had spent many a day locked in his bedroom a punishment his alcoholic mother seemed to enjoy doing and always a" you make me sick get out of my sight" lecture as he made his way into his room until she was sober enough to let him out usually four or five days but johnny he was determined to not let it bother him as he worked out with his weight set for hours every day the alternative being him beating his alcoholic moms ass ..he chose the weight set every time ..but none the less johnny never had a problem in a fight and johnny didnt like fighting he thought it to be rather stupid and archaic to have to fight in order to settle differences but still he hated bullies even more and even though he was always shorter he never wound up with the short end of the stick...funny here..ok a chuckle nah so onward johnnie's life went always caring for the other man or woman if they proved to be a friend and sometimes even the occasional bum when asked for change but johnny never accomplished a thing there was always something in him that caused him to not feel worthy of the good life never really feeling good about himself frankly if you came down to it johnny didnt care about himself but the man would give you the shirt off his back or give you his last dollar if it would help because it made him feel good helping others so one day johnny joined a dating site in hopes of giving something more to others through his writing for this was all that johnny had left of himself to give... i found out recently that johnny died ..this story a small tribute to johnny the man the myth ..
