If you caught your child (or future child) in their room smoking pot how would you react? I'd let them know I know about it, don't like that they are doing it. I'd let them know if they needed to talk about anything, I'd be there for them, not just as a parent, but as a friend.

I would be seriously ticked. I would definitely talk with him and hope I could say something to keep him from doing it again. I hope I never have to face that.

you know what's really weird? I'd be less pissed off then if I found them smoking cigarettes or drinking. and the thing that would piss me off the most is that they were dumb enough to do it in their room

I would tell them they had 3 minutes to tell me where they got it or I was going to call the police and have them arrested. I don't put up with nonsence

just like totage said. id sit them down and ask why they were using && if they thought it was cool or beacause they were feeling upset or angry that they should have came to me and talked to me no matter what...drugs are definetly NOT the answer.

I would be pissed u should never steal from your parents. Teaspot them... that is what I'd do.. among a few other things.. Teaspot= Take everything away-Short period Of Time. That actually means everything! Everything! Door off bedroom hinges as well, prolly..

I'd be upset, but first I would try to find out why he/she started, how long theyve been doing it, and then discuss other things. Sadly some people do not smoke it because they have issues or are upset about something, they do it because they want to.
