It's pretty accurate at 100 yds. That was using reloads (21 gr 2400 powder & 158 gr Sierra HP)

I was going to ask if you reload..... Do you use H110 powder?

I was going to ask if you reload..... Do you use H110 powder? I've used alot of Hodgen powder, but I've never used H110. Most of what I used was H322 & H335. My favorite powder is DuPont IMR-4895

As far as factory bullets are concerned, Sierra makes a good bullet.

What kind of velocity are you getting with the IMR-4895?

In a 6x47 (6mm in an expanded 222mag case) I was right around 3200 - 3250 fps. But that was cramming the case full - 29.5 gr.

I've only reloaded for my 41 mag, what a difference from factory loads. I've been thinking about loading a few for my Mini 30, but don't know if it would make as much difference there.

This is way above factory spec's. These barrels are customed chambered. A person could blow up a factory rifle shooting these kind of loads.

I'm getting about 1450fps from my 41, the max recommended by the Sierra reloading book.

Yeah, for a handgun - that's pushing that bullet pretty good. Sure wouldn't want to be on the receiving in of that...
