So many times I had pleaded with thee

Held prisoner by some cruel drug vise
I brought U in twice for in-house care
Departure had led U back into his lair
His sickle,scale and his dime bag leer
A low-life dealer with a welcome sneer
Tears & heartache;I would share with U
I revived U once when U had turned blue
Now there just memories 4 me to embrace
No longer I can see your beautiful face
Given the chance I would save you again
You have left 3 children behind to fend
I look in their eyes and it makes me cry
They'd ask me why did my Mommy go die?
I'd hold them fast and absorb some pain
Tears falling on me as if it were rain
Seven years gone and I see them as lost
Dropped education & their reality tossed
Their victims of some drug riddled game
Left to cope with their harbored shame
Hey!you decrepit dealers come around me
I've got something radical for U to see
U wont see it though until it's too late
It's very shiny and clipped upon my belt
My clever facade is going to take U down
A cell door slamming will be your sound
For every tear them children have shed
And the misguided lives that now lay dead
A seething hatred looks at my eyes of blue
The next dime dropped;I will be upon you ;)

Again last night, said you needed it bad.
You know that ain't right.
'Cause so many times you've come to me cry, crying,
Trying to stop, you said it hurts so bad
But please don't let you
Go back for more.

My little sisiter is a zombie in a body
With no soul; a role she has learned to play,
In a world today where nothing else matters.
But it matters, we gotta start feeding our souls,
Not our addictions or afflictions of pain.
To aviod the same questions we must
Ask ourselves to get any answers,
We gotta start geeding our souls...

Have been lost to the millions with lots
Who feed on addiction selling pills and what's hot.
I wish I could save her from all their delusions,
All the confusion,
Of a nation that starves for salvation.
But clothing is the closest approximation
To God and He only knows that drugs
Are all we know of love.

Ev'ry day we starve while we eat white bread
And beer instead of a handshake or hug.
We spill the pills and sweep them under the rug.
