If you're not just joking, there was a show on it not too awfully long ago. It must have been on TLC. It showed probably the worst cases, but some have accumulated so much that their lives are destroyed. It even talked about rare cases where people had been found dead among their accumulations. I think we all hold on to some things. I have my children's favorite school papers, outfits that I brought them home from the hospital in and special stuff, but it's in boxes, in a closet. I threw out a ton of stuff over the Summer and it felt good. Just junking up my garage. If it's extreme, not just treasures; there is supposed to be treatment for it.
