More laws equal Less Freedom, and Less Laws equal More Freedom. I don't believe the govt is worried about my health, I honestly don't believe that.

But what I do believe is that they are trying to program us to be nice Obedient sheeple to do as we are dam told. (One World Order) Wear this seat Belt! Wear these helmets! Do this! Don't do That! Kiss my Butt!!laugh laugh laugh laugh

I doubt the government cares too much about our individual health. I don't even think it's really about making us "sheep" or whatever. They probably pass these kinds of laws so we think they're actually doing something...because, really, who is going to say that banning smoking in public places is a bad law? Yeah, smokers might...but only because they want to smoke wherever. And I can see what you all are saying about taking away our individual freedoms and whatnot. I just seems to me that they pass these laws because they know the majority of people agree with them...and then we'll pat ourselves on the back for electing them and vote for them again next time. And we won't pay as much attention to the stuff they haven't gotten done. The stuff they don't want us to pay attention to.

I guess I'm totally cynical, but that's what it seems like to me. They want our votes, and also want to distract us from the serious issues as much as possible so we won't see how little is being done on those. Because they want our votes. It's all misdirection and dog and pony shows.

I am pretty sure my state voted on this law and it past. Isn't that the case for all those states? If so then it was voted into law.
