Come on people, cheer up a bit it's only Valentine's day! I don't get upset about the holidays that I'm excluded from, like Lent or Father's Day (as far as I know ) or Arbor Day (what? I just don't like trees...)! Or Hannakuh...that's 8 CRAZY NIGHTS that I miss out on every year! But do I get upset?! No! (I still drink the gin and tonica though )
No need to be down, and that kind of brooding pessimism and defeatist reaction is only going to ensure that you'll have a hard time finding someone to celebrate with by next year! Hell, it's Thursday...that means tomorrow is Friday! This is a good thing! |

Not really, considering that Wednesday and Thursday are my days off, so its already my weekend! Friday = Monday in my book.

I walked into Wal-Mart today to pick up some pencils for school. I was bombarded with pink, red, white, plush, lame poems written on cardboard, and a swamp of people oodling over it all. V-Day is just the Christmas of Feburary.

V-Day is just the Christmas of Feburary. Agreed, except if you're single you don't have to spend any money on it . Plus there aren't any religious groups fighting hilariously to keep the name the same instead of turning it into a secular holiday by saying "happy holidays." (At least not that I know of...) |
